Greetings,
We had 23 hard souls play Wianno this morning. Though we dodged the
rain, the wind picked up and made it feel like we were playing on "the olde sod".
In any case, we all survived and are better people for it. The same can not be
said of the "no shows"!!
Next week we have an unusual starting time. We have a NOON TIME shotgun
start at Ocean Edge. This course was written up in Golf Travel & Leisure magazine
as one of the outstanding redesigns this year. In season, you would pay as much
as $145 to play there; for us, next week, $55. Priceless!
I suggest we try to show up for lunch prior to tee time. In any case, everyone
should be ready to sign in no later than 11:30am. See you there!!

The weather man cooperated for today's round at Brookside. Though it
started out chilly, it ended up great. The course was in good shape and
we had a good turnout.
I want to thank Jack Hynes for taking charge in my absence. I hear
everything went smoothly, but that's what I heard from Jack!! I'm sure
all went well.
The results are shown below. Our next tour stop is next Monday, 5/12,
at Wianno. We have a 8:30am shotgun, so please make sure you arrive
at check in by 8am. We don't want to leave anyone out!
